Mobile, AL - The Mississippi Braves led Friday night's game in Mobile all the way until there was one out in the ninth inning, but the Mobile BayBears scored three times, including a Yazy Arbelo walk-off home run to beat the Braves 6-4.

Mississippi (10-19) led 4-3 entering the ninth inning. With Mark Lamm on the hill, Matt Davidson hit a double to right-center to lead off the ninth. Two batters later, Marc Krauss singled down the right-field line to tie the game. Then, with two outs in the inning, Arbelo hit his first double-A home run, a two-run shot to send the BayBears (17-12) to a walk-off.

The loss was the Braves' third straight, and seventh in eight games.

David Hale pitched well enough to win, but took a no-decision. He went six innings, allowing just three runs on four hits. Lamm suffered his first blown save of the season.

The Braves built their lead behind Evan Gattis. He hit his second home run in as many days, a two-run shot in the fourth inning to start the scoring. Then with Matt Kennelly standing at second base after a walk and wild pitch, Todd Cunningham singled to right to put Mississippi up 3-0.

Mobile got an RBI double from Brent Clevlen in the fourth to make it 3-1. Gattis then doubled to lead off the sixth and scored three batters later on a wild pitch to make it 4-1.

Davidson hit his fifth home run of the season for Mobile, a two-run shot in the sixth to make it 4-3 and set up the ninth inning comeback.

The Braves and BayBears square off in game five of the series on Saturday at 7:05 PM CT. RHP Gary Moran (0-1, 4.30) takes the mound against RHP Brett Lorin (0-1, 3.29). Listen live at 103.9 WYAB or online at MississippiBraves.com.
