EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS DATES ANNOUNCED

Today the United States Hockey League announced the complete schedule for the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals. The USHL Anderson Cup Champion Green Bay Gamblers will face off against the Indiana Ice in a best of five series. The schedule is as follows:

The promotional schedule for the finals is as follows:

For Games 1 and 2 children ages 14 and under get $5 off $13 to $17 seats, College Students receive $13 tickets for $9.

2012 Eastern Conference Finals playoff ticket prices are $25, $17, $15, $13 and $9. Tickets go on sale beginning on Saturday April 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM.

GAMES 3 AND 4 TO BE SHOWN LIVE AT BAY CITY SMOKEHOUSE

Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals at the Pepsi Coliseum in Indiana will be shown "live" on television at the Bay City Smokehouse. Dates and times are listed above. The Bay City Smokehouse is located just a slap-shot away from the Resch Center on Armed Forces Drive.

GAMBLERS GOLD JERSEY AUCTION

The Green Bay Gamblers are proud to announce that the team's alternate gold jerseys are being auctioned online at ebay.com. The auction starts today and will end April 30th at 9:30am. Fans must have a Paypal and Ebay account to bid on the jerseys. Each jersey is signed by the player. The bidding will start at $150.00 per jersey. ALEX BROADHURST SCORES FIRST SHORTHANDED HATTRICK

On Wednesday night Green Bay Gamblers forward Alex Broadhurst became the first player in the 33-year history of the United States Hockey League to record three short-handed goals. On the strength of Broadhurst's record breaking performance the Gamblers took a 2-1 series lead in the USHL Eastern Division Semi-Finals with a 6-3 win over the Youngstown Phantoms. Game four is set for tonight at theCoveliCenter in Youngstown, Ohio.

Broadhurst scored in each of the three periods. The Chicago Blackhawks draft pick scored at the 2:41 mark of the first, 18:50 mark of the second and completed the hat trick at the 13:34 mark of the third.

In the series versus the Phantoms, Broadhurst has a team high five goals.

Broadhurst, who is in his second year with the Gamblers, led the team in scoring with 73 points (26 goals and 47 assists). The New Lenox, Illinois native also played an instrumental part in the Gamblers reaching the Clark Cup Finals last season scoring 9 points.

UnStoppable Chicago Line

The Chicago line consisting of Alex Broadhurst, Sam Herr and Nolan LaPorte have had the best statistical season in franchise history surpassing production of the starting line in 2010 (Ryan Furne, Reed Seckel and Anders Lee). The Chicago line accounted for 199 of the 650 points scored by the Gamblers during the regular season. Sam Herr (30 goals) and Nolan LaPorte (36 goals) both had break out seasons scoring over 30 goals a piece. For just the second time the 18 year history of the Green Bay Gamblers, the team had two 30 plus goal scorers in a single season.

NOLAN LAPORTE- WESTERN MICHIGAN RECRUIT

LaPorte brought his rugged style back to Green Bay for a second tour with the Gamblers this past regular season and the forward did not disappoint scoring a team high 36 goals and a USHL league leading 13 powerplay goals during the regular season.. In his rookie campaign, LaPorte notched nine goals, 11 assists and 63 minutes in penalties in 54 games. The Western Michigan recruit registered three goals and five assists in 2011 Clark Cup Playoff games. Before being selected by the Gamblers in the 2010 Entry Draft, LaPorte laced up the skates for Team Illinois AAA. In 47 games LaPorte racked up 21 goals and 25 assists in route to lead TeamIllinoisto the U18 Illinois state championship.

SAM HERR- NOTRE DAME RECRUIT

Herr returned for a second season with the Green Bay Gamblers scoring 30 goals and 26 assits. More impressively is his plus minus rating. Herr led the team with a plus 35. Herr along with Alex Broadhurst and Nolan LaPorte make up the "Chicago Line". The threesome provided plenty of offense in the playoffs, as the threesome produced 22 points in 2011 Clark Cup Playoff games. Herr appeared in 57 regular season games, amassing 10 goals and 13 assists. Before joining the Gamblers, Herr was apart of the Chicago Mission Midget AAA that captured 2009 the Midget Major National Championship. For the Mission, Herr appeared in 47 games scoring 18 goals and 13 assist.

ALEX BROADHURST- CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS DRAT PICK

Broadhurst had the distinction of being the team's leading returning scorer. The Chicago Blackhawks draft picked once again led his team in points this past season with 73 points. Broadhurst also is currently leading the league scoring during the 2012 Clark Cup Playoffs. The New Lenox, Illinois native has scored 5 goals and 2 assists. Broadhurst put together a tremendous rookie campaign, registering 13 goals and 20 assists in 55 games. Broadhurst continued his solid play in the Clark Cup Playoffs, leading the team in scoring with nine points (3 goals & 6 assists). Broadhurst was selected in the 7th round of the NHL Entry Draft by his hometown Chicago Blackhawks. The New Lenox,Illinois native also participated with his brother Terry in the Blackhawks Rookie camps this past summer. On the international level, Broadhurst was a member the United States Under-18 team that took home the silver medal at the 2010 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in theCzech Republic andSlovakia. Prior to his time inGreen Bay, Broadhurst played his midget hockey for the Chicago Mission. Registering 16 goals and 29 assists, Broadhurst played a key role in guiding theMission to the 2010 U-18 National Championship.
