Rampage to Give Away More Than $50,000 in Prizes Sunday

SAN ANTONIO (April 12, 2012) - The San Antonio Rampage will salute the best fans in the American Hockey League by awarding more than $50,000 worth of prizes during the team's Fan Appreciation Game and regular season finale presented by Macy's at 3:30 p.m. Sunday against the Oklahoma City Barons.

The first 2,000 fans will receive $10 off cards from Express Lube, while the first 5,000 fans will receive $5 gift cards courtesy of Macy's, movie tickets from Alamo Draft House, and a Rampage Koozie.

Other prizes will include a 2012-13 Season Parking Pass, a complimentary teeth whitening from the Smile Center, a $500 Macy's gift card, two SeaWorld Season Passes, one free pizza each week during the summer from CiCi's Pizza, and a pair of Rampage Season Tickets for the next 10 years.

Prizes will be awarded prior to the game, during all three periods and both intermissions, and after the game as well.

Fans can also bid on the team's home jerseys during a silent auction that will take place from the opening of doors through the end of the second intermission.

The Rampage resume their chase for a Western Conference playoff spot at 7:00 p.m. Friday when they host the Texas Stars at the AT&T Center. ABOUT THE RAMPAGE The Rampage is one of four professional sports franchises owned and operated by Spurs Sports & Entertainment - the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), the Silver Stars (WNBA) and the Austin Toros (NBA D-League) - and plays its home games at the SS&E operated AT&T Center. The 2011-12 season marks the Rampage's 10th anniversary season in the AHL. In operation since 1936, the AHL continues to serve as the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams with more than 87 percent of today's NHL players being AHL graduates.
