SASKATOON - From inaugural WHL scoring champ Gerry Pinder to two-time Norris nominee Mike Green, oodles of outstanding players have skated for the Saskatoon Blades since the team's inception in 1963.

Now the host committee for the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup is inviting fans to choose their favourite Blade stars from the past five decades.

"With the Blades preparing for this year's playoff run, our host committee started reminiscing about some of the great teams of the past and the players who led the way," says Tim Gitzel, Cameco CEO and co-chair of the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup in Saskatoon. "We thought it would be fun to get some feedback from fans and compile all-stars from each decade in the lead-up to next year's tournament at Credit Union Centre.

"It's a chance to celebrate the team's rich history as we look towards a very exciting future."

The poll is now open at:
