Sol and Rieder Accept Three Awards Each at Rangers Banquet

The Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club held their Annual Awards Banquet on Monday, March 19 in the Ballroom at Bingemans in Kitchener.

Cody Sol and Tobias Rieder were each awarded three of the evening's honours.

Awards were presented as followed:

Ted Scharf Award presented by Kitchener sports Association (Community Service) - Cody Sol

Kitchener Rangers Most Popular Player - Ben Fanelli

Herchenrader Family Trophy Best Defensive Ability - Cody Sol

Les Bradley Memorial Award Most Improved Player - Cody Sol

Jim McGeachie Memorial Trophy Outstanding Team Effort - Michael Catenacci

Bob "Snowy" Schlieman Award Best Offensive Defenseman - Ryan Murphy

Michael Pappert Memorial Trophy Rookie of the Year - Radek Faksa

Blueline Club Trophy Most Gentlemanly Player - Tobias Rieder

Jim Malleck Memorial Trophy Most Valuable Player - Michael Catenacci
