SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Feb. 19, 2012 - Larry Owens tallied a team-high 24 points and Marcus Lewis scored 23, but the Tulsa 66ers (16-19) fell short on the road to the Sioux Falls Skyforce (9-24) Sunday afternoon by a 100-96 final inside Sioux Falls Arena.
Tulsa, who rallied to outscore Sioux Falls by a 31-18 margin in the fourth quarter, was also led in scoring by Robert Vaden with 15 and Jerome Dyson with 11.
The 66ers racked up 20 assists on the afternoon, led by five dishes from LaDustin Williams and four each from Brady Morningstar and Vaden.
Defensively, Tulsa forced 22 Sioux Falls turnovers and created 13 steals, led by Williams with three thefts.
Leading the Skyforce was Trey Gilder with 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting and a game-high 13 rebounds.
The 66ers return to action this Tuesday, Feb. 21, when they host the Maine Red Claws at home inside the Tulsa Convention Center at 7 p.m. CT.
