
Legends Explode for Season-Best 130 Points Againt Vipers

Frisco, TX FEB. 19, 2012 - The Texas Legends shot better than fifty percent for the second game in a row as they blasted the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 130-97.
Texas was led by Alando Tucker who poured in a season-best 27 points. Tucker was often the benefactor of Antonio Daniels' assists. Daniels dished out 13 assists for the game tying his season-high from Friday against Fort Wayne.
Booker Woodfox was outstanding off the bench connecting on six of seven from long range for 20 points. In all the Legends shot 53.4% from the field while hitting 65.2% from beyond the arc.
The Vipers struggled from the field only making 36.6% of their shots. Will Conroy missed on all six of his attempts from deep, but managed a double-double with 17 points and 13 assists.
Marcus Morris, on assignment from the Houston Rockets, contributed 22 points and nine rebounds, but made only seven of his attempts on the night.
Texas dominated the boards outrebounding Rio Grande Valley 53-32.
The Legends (17-18) now prepare for a trio of game with the Austin Toros (21-11) starting at Dr Pepper Arena Thursday the 1st at 7:00PM.
