The Ice Flyers, including some new additions, will be looking for a win tonight against the Louisiana IceGators. They'll also be looking for retribution after Saturday's 7-2 win claimed by Louisiana in the Hangar. Chris Wilson and Mike Carter had the Ice Flyers only two goals in that game. The season series now stands are 4 wins a piece with Louisiana winning the last two matchups.

The Ice Flyers are tied with the Mississippi Surge with 43 points and while the Surge are in 5th place, the Ice Flyers are 6th in the SPHL. The Ice Flyers home record stands at 11-7-0 while the Gators have a 10-10-2 record on the road.

Team Scope:

PENSACOLA - The Ice Flyers are trying to put their current 4-game losing streak behind them. Corey Milan's overall record is now 7-10-3 with a 3.50 goals against average and a .871 save percentage; his record with the Ice Flyers stands at 3-4-1, a 2.83 GAA, and 0.894 SV%. Jeff Rose has a combined record of 4-7-1, 4.20 GAA, and a 0.857 SV%. Yesterday the Ice Flyers traded with Knoxville for Jesse Kallechy and he comes to Pensacola with a 6-8-2 record, a 3.55 GAA, as well as a 0.894 SV%. Jordan Chong still leads the team in scoring with 39 points, Chris Wilson leads the team with 18 goals, and Chong still hold the team lead with 24 assists.

The Ice Flyers still have the 4th best power play in the league at 17.55%. The Flyers have scored 33 power play goals while only giving up 1 shorthanded goal. Pensacola's penalty is now 7th in the league at 80.54% and the Flyers have given up 29 power play goals against while also managing to score 5 shorthanded goals.

The Ice Flyers' next game will be Saturday when they travel to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum to take on the Mississippi Surge.

LOUISIANA - The IceGators hosted the Mississippi Surge in a Valentine's Day tilt that they ended up losing 2-1 in OT. In goal the IceGators still have B.J. O'Brien and Dan Earles. O'Brien has a record of 12-7-3 to go with a 2.55 GAA and a 0.911 SV%. Earles is 8-5-0 with a 3.36 GAA and a 0.884 SV%. The Gators are led in scoring by Jason Hill with 63 points. Robert Short leads the team with 25 goals and Hill leads Louisiana with 46 assists.

The IceGators' power play is best in the SPHL at 19.82%, scoring 44 power play goals yet still allowing 6 shorthanded goals. Their penalty kill is 6th at 81.32% with 34 power play goals against while adding on 2 shorthanded goals.

After tonight's game the IceGators will make two stops in Mississippi taking on the Surge on Friday and the RiverKings on Saturday.
