WEST FARGO, N.D. - A season-high three power-play goals by the Tri-City Storm, including the game-winning goal from RW Andrew Dorantes led the Storm past the Fargo Force 4-3. It was just the second-ever win for the Storm in Fargo, as Tri-City improved to 2-10-2 all-time against the Force at Scheels Arena.

Tri-City (16-25-0, 32 pts - 7th in Western Conference) scored their first of three power-play goals at the 3:45 mark in the first period on D Dylan Maller's second goal of the season. LW Brad Schierhorn and RW Kenny Brooks each tallied an assist on the Maller goal.

The Storm's only even-strength goal was scored by Dorantes at the 2:52 mark in the second period, as LW Joshua Henke sent a pass ahead that bounced to Dorantes for the partial breakaway. Maller earned the second assist on the goal, and received his first-career multi-point game for the Storm.

Fargo (21-16-4, 46 pts - 4th in Western Conference) scored two back-to-back goals in the final five minutes in the second period on goals by C Jordan Nelson and LW Stanislav Dzakhov. Dzakhov scored his goal with 41 seconds left in the period on a 5-on-3 power play for the Force, as he tipped in a shot by D Brian Cooper.

In the third period, RW Kenny Brooks and Dorantes each scored on the power play spread out by 10 minutes of play, as Brooks' 11th goal of the season was assisted by LW Trevor Moore and Schierhorn. Dorantes' third goal of the season was assisted by Henke and D Bryan Sinz. It was the first multi-goal game of Dorantes' career.

Fargo's Nicholas Stoskopf would score with the extra attacker, as he deflected in D Taylor Richart's shot with a minute and 37 seconds left in the game.

G Adam Wilcox (14-12-0) made 35 saves on 38 shots earning the win for the Storm, while G Reed Peters (5-6-1) made 23 saves on 27 shots receiving the loss for the Force.

Tri-City finished the game 3-for-5 on the power play, while going 4-for-5 on the penalty kill.

The Storm are back home next weekend hosting the Sioux Falls Stampede and the Lincoln Stars. The Breeze 94.5 FM will likely air both games with the Viaero Wireless Pre-Game Shows starting at 6:45 p.m.
