Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that goalie Mathias Niederberger has been named the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week for the week ending February 5th.
Niederberger recorded his first career shutout on Friday night as he made 23 stops in a 1-0 win over the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors. The next night he blanked the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 5-0, making another 23 saves en route to back-to-back shutouts.
