
Pelicans Single Game Tickets Go on Sale Friday

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - With the 2012 baseball season drawing nearer, Myrtle Beach Pelicans fans can get one step closer to the action at midnight Thursday and into Friday, February 10th, when single game tickets go on sale online at MyrtleBeachPelicans.com. Tickets go on sale at the BB&T Coastal Field box office on Monday, February 13th, at 10am.
To purchase tickets online, follow the 'Tickets' link in the top left-hand corner of the Pelicans' homepage and select 'Purchase Tickets.'
Single game tickets start as low as $8 for seats on the Budweiser Thirst Inning Deck. Great seats are also available in the Reserve Box, Grandstrand Reserve and Field Box areas.
"Tickets going on sale is another checkpoint on the way to Opening Day," said Pelicans General Manager Scott Brown. "It means baseball is closer to coming back to the beach and you can really start to feel the excitement building."
Season tickets, Flex Books and Mini-Plans for the 2012 Pelicans season are on sale now at the team's BB&T Coastal Field offices or by calling (843) 918-6000. Season tickets are available for as low as $560 with partial-season plans starting at just $70. For in-person or phone purchases, normal box office hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm.
The Pelicans open the 2012 season looking to defend their Carolina League First Half South Division title at home against the Wilmington Blue Rocks, Friday, April 6th, at 7:05 pm.
