Miracles on Ice Night; Special Jerseys to be auctioned following the game February 3

All 501c3 Organizations in the State of Oklahoma were invited to participate in the program. For every ticket to this game sold by a participating 501c3 organization, the Barons will return $4 to that organization. The event is to raise money and give back to the non-profit organizations and causes in the state.

The Barons will also be wearing one-of-a-kind jerseys for this game. The jerseys will feature the Special Olympics logo on the crest and will be the royal blue/orange color combination of the Edmonton Oilers home jerseys. These unique jerseys will be available for bids in a live auction following the game. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma.

Diamond In Ice Giveaway

The Oklahoma City Barons and Mitchell's Jewelry in Norman are giving one lucky fan the perfect gift right before Valentine's Day: A diamond.

Prior to the Barons game February 3 against the Charlotte Checkers, the Barons will distribute 5,000 ring boxes to fans as they enter the Cox Convention Center. One lucky fan will find a certificate in their ring box for a diamond from Mitchell's Jewelry valued at $3,000.

Barons, Chesapeake Energy & Salvation Army Coat Drive

The Oklahoma City Barons are teaming with Chesapeake Energy and the Salvation Army to collect coats for Oklahomans who are in need.

Barons fans can help in many ways prior to the game February 3. The Salvation Army will be set up at entrances around the Cox Convention Center to collect coats for the Winter Coat Drive. In addition, the Salvation Army bell-ringing corps will be out in full force to collect donations for their general fund. Lastly, fans can donate $10 by texting the word "GIVE" to 80888.

The Bulls Are Coming to OKC

Barons hockey fans and Thunder basketball fans can get a preview of the nearly 2,000-pound animal athletes that will be coming town for this unique event. The PBR Express Classic will be February 10 - 12 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in downtown Oklahoma City. Four bulls will be on display in between the Cox Convention Center and Chesapeake Energy Arena prior to both team's games this Friday.

Skate with the Barons February 4

The final Saturday of the Devon Rink at the Myriad Botanical Gardens will feature members of the Oklahoma City Barons participating in a skate to benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma.

Ice Rink Events and the Myriad Botanical Gardens Trust will welcome the Barons noon to 7 p.m. on February 4. The public is invited to skate with the members of the Barons, the Ice Girls and their mascot Derrick during that time. Admission to skate is $10 if you need to rent skates, $7 if you bring your own skates. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the "Barons Buddies" program with Special Olympics Oklahoma.
