Ice Flyers Claim Milan off of Waivers, Place Ward on 30-Day IR

The Pensacola Ice Flyers have claimed goaltender Corey Milan off of waivers and placed goalie Adam Ward on 30-day Injured Reserve.

Milan, a native of Great Barrington, Massachusetts; is a 5' 10", 170 lbs. rookie goalie who catches left. He joins Pensacola after stints with the Huntsville Havoc and the Mississippi Surge. In 15 total games this season, Milan has a record of 4-6-2 with a 3.97 goals against average and a 0.856 saves percentage.

Prior to going pro, Milan played 4 seasons at Union College, an NCAA Div. 1 school in Schenectady, New York. In 81 games played for the Dutchmen, he posted a 35-29-12 record, a 2.46 GAA, and a 0.908 SV%.
