Listed below are the Black Hawks Players of the Week, selected by the team's coaches and staff each Monday and posted on waterlooblackhawks.com:
Mulligan's Offensive Player of the Week - Aaron Pearce
Pearce recorded a goal during both of the Black Hawks' weekend road games, putting in a shorthanded score Friday, then giving Waterloo the opportunity for a late rally with a third period marker Saturday.
Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week - James Hansen
Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week recognition goes to Hansen, who was +1 for the weekend and scored the game winning goal Friday versus the Tri-City Storm.
UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker - A.J. Michaelson
Contributing an assist on the scoresheet, Michaelson was steady on the ice, posting a +2 rating. He and Aaron Pearce were the only Hawks to finish the weekend +2.
Convenient Care Heart of the Week - Jamie Hill
Hill notched an assist with a touch-pass to set up James Hansen's game-winning goal Friday against the Storm. The veteran forward was +1 during the two weekend games.
