
Ice Flyers Helping Unveil New POWERBALL With Florida Lottery

The Pensacola Ice Flyers and the Florida Lottery have come together once again to further increase excitement among the fans attending Friday night's Ice Flyers' game when they take on the first place Augusta RiverHawks at 7:05 PM.
Everyone in The Hangar that is 18 and older will have a chance to win. Multiple sections will be drawn throughout the game to win free Florida Lottery Scratch Off tickets. Also, there will be Florida Lottery Powerball t-shirts that will be thrown out to fans all over the Civic Center. All fans have to do to play and win is be in attendance at Friday's game and be 18 or older.
According to a January 5th press release, Sunday, January 15th marked a change to POWERBALLé. Starting jackpots doubled from $20 million to $40 million, while also increasing the second place prize to $1 million by matching 5 of 5 winning numbers and increasing the chances of becoming a POWERBALL millionaire. The pool of numbers has decreased from 39 to 35, which creates better overall odds, and the game's overall odds is now one in 31.8, up from one in 35.
The Florida Lottery will also be present at other Ice Flyer games throughout the rest of the 2011-2012 season for fans to win different products available through Florida Lottery.
