The Pensacola Ice Flyers would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!! We want to thank all of our Top Guns, our Wingmen, all our fans and the Ice Flyers' Booster Club for their support. The Ice Flyers want to also extend thanks to our corporate sponsors and our media partners. And to the Civic Center staff, SMG, Escambia County Commissioners and citizens of all the surrounding counties, we as well want to thank you.
We had a little bit of a rocky start to the 2011-2012 season, but the boys have really started to come together as a team and are currently riding a 4-game winning streak, and a 5-game home winning streak. We are scoring by committee, playing tougher defensively and putting in more 60-minute efforts, which are all evident in our recent success. There is still a lot of hockey left to be played this season, but we are moving in the right direction, both on and off the ice.
Once again, MERRY CHRISTMAS from the entire Ice Flyer family to you and yours!! We look forward to seeing everyone at The Hangar for our remaining games in the 2011-2012 season, including our 4 home games left in December: 27th and 29th @ 7:05 PM for our Education Appreciation Nights ($12 for a Centre Ice ticket, Ice Flyers' hat, game program and team autograph session for students, staff and families - $29 Value); 30th @ 7:05 PM and the 31st @ 6:05 PM both versus our I-10 rival, the Surge.
