Adam Huxley Returns to Wranglers

Las Vegas, Nev. - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that they have agreed to terms with left wing Adam Huxley for the 2011-12 season. Huxley was released by the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads last week, and has joined his new Las Vegas teammates for their match in Boise tonight.

Huxley, 27, appeared in four games with the Steelheads this season and collected 24 penalty minutes. In 2010-11, the 6'0, 200-pound left wing split his time between Idaho and the AHL's Chicago Wolves. He played in 40 Steelheads games and recorded 14 points (4 goals, 10 assists) and 132 penalty minutes. With the Chicago Wolves, he saw time in 18 games and notched one assist and 57 penalty minutes.

The Wainwright, Alberta native played for the Wranglers in the 2004-05 season, where he tallied seven goals, eight assists and 294 penalty minutes in 55 games. He saw two additional games in Las Vegas in 2005-06 before playing with the now-defunct Victoria Salmon Kings. Huxley has skated for five teams in the ECHL since 2003-04.

The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located next to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Ave.
