
MMA and Boxing Returns this Weekend

Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to The Annex and The Cube, announces that the complex will host Cage Combat MMA this Friday, November 4th and MMA with Professional Boxing on Saturday, November 5th. Both nights are presented by
Greg Ahrens and Killer Fight Gear and bouts will begin at 8 p.m.
The most action packed full contact mixed martial arts in the Midwest returns to Wings Stadium for two nights starting this Friday will a full card of MMA action.
On Saturday, the card will be split featuring both MMA and professional boxing.
Ahrens and the Cage Combat MMA brand is the original state licensed & bonded professional fight promotion company in Michigan to host MMA events. Ahrens hosted the first-ever state sanctioned Professional Mixed Martial Arts event in Michigan's history on January 15th 2010 at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. Cage Combat MMA has been featured on the FOX Sports Network, giving local Michigan fighters national exposure.

Stadium Management Company owns the Wings Stadium Complex, the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team, Wings West and the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings hockey team. The Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and can seat up to 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities and plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings along with the newly acquired and named Wings West facility are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
