HALIFAX - The Saint John Sea Dogs continued their solid play on the road, posting a 5-0 shutout over the Halifax Mooseheads for their third straight win away from home.

Mathieu Corbeil, who spent a day in the NHL with the Columbus Blue Jackets this week, returned to blank his former junior team with a 20-save performance. It was the 20-year-old netminder's first regular-season shutout in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Danick Gauthier, Jonathan Huberdeau and Scott Oke scored singles for the Sea Dogs, and Tomas Jurco added two insurance markers 15 seconds apart in the third period. The Dogs improved to 10-5 on the season and remain first in the Maritime Division, while the second-place Mooseheads fell to 8-5.

The teams were scoreless for much of the first period, until Saint John's special teams broke through late in the opening frame. Gauthier broke the deadlock on a power play at 17:40. Kevin Gagne's shot was#avg_ls_inline
