Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Fighting Saints will play one more game at home before hitting the road for ten of their next eleven games. The opponent tonight is the Waterloo Black Hawks, a traditional rival for the Fighting Saints who have added firepower after a first-round playoff exit last season. The Fighting Saints will aim to get back to the .500 mark after dropping two of their first games of the season to the Green Bay Gamblers.

The Black Hawks have gotten off to a hot start this season, winning two games and winning one in overtime - and doing so entirely away from Young Arena. The Black Hawks return ten players from last season's roster, including goaltender *Jay Williams*, who has a 2-0-1 record to open the season with a 1.95 goals against average to start the season.

Tonight is Pink the Rink at the Mystique Community Ice Center. The Fighting Saints will wear pink jerseys in support of the fight against breast cancer. The Fighting Saints will hit the road tomorrow night, heading north to Green Bay to take on the Gamblers. Three of the Fighting Saints' first five games are against Green Bay.
