Jordan Danks Awarded Gold Glove

FORT MILL, S.C. - Jordan Danks has been named by Minor League Baseball and Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc., as a recipient of a Rawlings Gold Glove Award for defensive excellence. Nine players were given the award through all of Minor League Baseball.

Charlotte Knights' Jordan Danks was awarded the Gold Glove for top defensive Center Fielder. Danks played 131 games for the Knights in 2011. Danks had 319 putouts, 9 assists from the outfield and was credited with 3 double plays. The only error Danks committed came August 31st versus Durham giving Jordan a .997 Fielding Percentage for the year and a 2.50 Range Factor. In 321 career games in CF, Danks has committed just 2 errors for a career .997 Fielding Percentage at that position.
