
Hounds Trim Roster to 43; Red/White Game Goes Saturday

Following three days of on and off-ice activities, the Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club has reduced their training camp roster to 43 players in preparation for Saturday's LUKE WILLIAMS MEMORIAL RED AND WHITE GAME.
Game time is 7:07 p.m. at the Essar Centre and tickets are still available.
Released from camp following today's final scrimmage were:
Goalies - Matthew Nesitco, Tyler Stepke
Defensemen - Brayden McLean, Fraser Turner
Forwards - Alex Archibald, Jimmy Cusan, Kyle Rowe, Jordan Deckard, Dallas McLaughlin, Stephen Hladin, Ryan Marker, Craig Martini

Additionally, still with the club but unable to participate in the Red & White game will be Joe Rogalski who has missed Training Camp 2011 with an upper body injury.
Following the Red and White contest the Hounds will reduce their roster to 31 players to enter OHL exhibition action. The locals will practice for the first time on Sunday before playing their first game on Friday, September 9th at Sudbury (7:30 p.m.) and then return home on Saturday, September 10th vs Sudbury at the Essar Centre.
