Ice Players off to NHL Training Camps

Cranbrook, BC - Jeff Chynoweth, General Manager of the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club, today announced eight players will be attending National Hockey League Training Camps.

Defenseman Brayden McNabb and Goaltender Nathan Liuewen will be attending the Buffalo Sabres Camp and Drew Czerwonka will be participating in the Edmonton Oilers Camp. Meanwhile, Cody Eakin will be attending Washington Capitals Camp and Max Reinhart and Joey Leach will be attending the Calgary Flames Camp. In addition, James Martin (Calgary) and Joe Antilla (San Jose) have each been invited to attend NHL Training Camps in September.

"It is very rewarding for any player to attend an NHL Training Camp. It will be a great learning experience for these eight players which will hopefully carry into the upcoming season", added Chynoweth.

Kootenay ICE Training Camp starts today at the Rec Plex and will wrap up on Sunday, September 4 with the Annual Blue White Game starting at 12:00 pm.ICE PLAYERS OFF TO NHL TRAINING CAMPS
