Who: Curtis Grimes, NBC's "The Voice" contestant Raquel Garcia, Choreographer and Coach of the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers DJ Mike Swing, local entertainer Stephanie Shannon, former Capital City Dancer and Spurs Silver Dancer Marcella Garcia, Capital City Dance Team Coach
What: Finals for the 2011-12 Capital City Dance Team... 18 finalists will compete. The event is free and open to the public.
When: Tuesday, August 30, 2011 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30)
Where: Hudson on 5th 301 W. 5th Street Austin, Texas
Following two rounds of dance technique and interview/presentation skills competition, 18 dancers were selected and will compete tonight for a spot on the 2011-12 Capital City Dance Team. The event is free and open to the public. The Capital City Dancers are the official dance team of the Austin Toros and perform at all home games. Dancers also take an active part in Toros' community building initiatives throughout the year.
