It is that time of year again, "time to change a life". Moses Ehambe of the 2010-2011 NBA D-League World Champions, the Iowa Energy, will be hosting his very own high impact, character building and skill sharpening basketball clinic. This will be the 3rd annual event, but the first in the Des Moines area. We are proud to announce that the Moses Ehambe Basketball Clinic (MEBC) will take place at The Downtown Church (DTC) on 323 East Locust Street in Des Moines, IA on Saturday, August 6, 2011. This event is proudly sponsored by companies such as Des Moines very own 2011 NBA D-League Champion Iowa Energy, Scheels, Chick-Fil-A, Dynamic Sports Development, Chinese Association of Iowa, Huntington Learning Center, U.S. Foods, and Competitive Edge. The clinic will be led by Iowa Energy starting guard and Oral Roberts University Grad, Moses Ehambe.

Ehambe hosts these clinics each year as a way of giving back to the community. As tradition follows, him and his wife will be sponsoring 20 youth from the inner city.

The theme of the clinic is, "More Than Just A Game." Ehambe's goal is to provide the youth of today with the most cutting edge basketball skill work, while at the same time educating them on how they can use their basketball talent as a platform to help others.

MEBC will be held in two separate sessions. 1st session will start with a registration time of 9:00AM for grades 3rd-7th. 2nd session will start with a registration time of 12:30PM for grades 8th-12th. The cost of the basketball clinic will be $45.00 per camper. This fee includes a complimentary lunch, a silicone wristband, and a free t-shirt.

A percentage of all proceeds from the clinic will be donated to a non-profit organization located in the Des Moines area.
