Ian Mahinmi earned All-NBA D-League honors and played in the D-League Finals with the Austin Toros while on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs during his rookie year in 2007-08. Mahinmi averaged 17 points and eight rebounds during 2007-08, but had to sit out the entire 2008-09 season due to an ankle injury. Mahinmi played in 26 games with the Spurs in 2009-10 averaging four points and two rebounds. In his first year with the Mavericks after joining the team as a free agent for 2010-11, the center from France appeared in a career-high 56 games during the regular season, and has appeared in three playoff game appearances including eight minutes in game three of the finals.
