Chivas USA tied 3-3 on the road against the Columbus Crew on Saturday evening at Columbus Crew Stadium before 9,431 fans. The Red-and-White has only lost one match in six away games during the 2011 MLS season and has a record of 2-1-3 on the road.

With the tie, Chivas USA's season record improves to (3-4-4) and remains in seventh place in the Western Conference with 13 points.

The Red-and-White will now face MLS expansion teams and Western Conference rivals next week in back to back games. First, the Goats will host the Vancouver Whitecaps on Wednesday, June 1st at 7:30 pm PT, and on Saturday, June 4th against the Portland Timbers at 7:30 pm PT, both matches to be held at The Home Depot Center.

Chivas USA took the lead early in the game when Justin Braun crossed the ball to midfielder Nick LaBrocca, who scored his second goal of the season at the 4th minute.

The home team quickly responded at the 17th minute when forward Andres Mendoza received a deep pass from midfielder Emmanuel Ekpo and put the score 1-1.

Chivas USA defender Andrew Boyens scored his second goal in his career and the first one since 2007 off a Health Pearce corner kick at the 37th minute to give the Red-and-White the lead for the second time in the match.

The Crew's Mendoza scored his second goal of the night on a turnover by Chivas USA that left the Columbus forward on a one-on-one situation against Kennedy and converted the goal at the 52nd minute to put the score 2-2.

The Red-and-White kept fighting and took the lead for the third time in the game when Jorge Flores went inside the box and with a left shot past Hesmer at the 57th minute.

Columbus tied the game for the third and final time when Emmanuel Epko found space inside the box, turned, and blasted a shot to put the final score, 3-3 at the 64th minute.

Flores received a red card at the 57th minute after receiving his second caution in the game and will miss next Wednesday's match against the Vancouver Whitecaps at The Home Depot Center.

Chivas USA Head Coach Robin Fraser about tonight's match: "I'm pretty disappointed with the tie to be quite honest. I think we all are. At the end, I'm happy to get a point. I'd rather have a point than no points, but certainly I felt like we played well enough to get all three points. We really made some mistakes at the end but coming off the game last week where we didn't play very well. I felt we did extremely well in terms of possession and then in turning the possession into chances. In the end, we'll take the draw on the road but it's a game we felt we could've won."

Andrew Boyens and Simon Elliott will head to Denver tomorrow for New Zealand's international friendly against Mexico on June 1st, while Alejandro Moreno will report with the Venezuelan National Team for the match against Guatemala on June 1st.

The Red-and-White will travel back tomorrow to Los Angeles and will resume training on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's match game against the Vancouver Whitecaps at 7:30 p.m. PT. For tickets or information on the game, please visit cdchivasusa.com or call 1-877-CHIVAS-1.
