
Stingrays Announce Winner of Carnival Cruise Giveaway

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays in partnership with Carnival Cruise Lines announced today the winner of the 2010-11 Carnival Cruise Giveaway. Stephanie Lautenschlager and a guest will enjoy a five-day cruise to the Bahamas on the Carnival Fantasy departing from Charleston, SC.
Stephanie and her guest will enjoy eight meals and snacks a day, breakfast in bed, 24-hour room service, FREE nightly entertainment, 24-hour pizza, grand shows in the main lounge, resort-style pool with entertainment, food from around the world on the lido, comedy shows and much more!
During the 2010-11 season, fans entered to win the cruise by participating in the Carnival Cruise Lines Chuck-A-Puck contest during the second intermission of all 36 regular-season Stingrays home games at the North Charleston Coliseum. The winner of each contest was eligible to win the cruise. Proceeds generated from chuck-a-puck sales were donated to MUSC Children's Hospital in downtown Charleston. On Wednesday, May 4, the Stingrays along with Carnival Cruise Lines presented a check for $6,754.50 to the hospital.
