NBA D-League to Make Major Announcement Prior to Monday's Energy Playoff Game

DES MOINES, IA, April 17, 2011 - The NBA D-League will be making a major announcement prior to Monday's playoff game between the Iowa Energy and the Tulsa 66ers. The announcement will take place on the Energy's court just prior to the game, which is schedule for 7pm CDT. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take part in the celebration, which will include executives from the NBA.

Iowa leads the semifinal series with Tulsa 1-0. A win on Monday would send the Energy to the D-League Finals for the first time in the franchises four year history. If Tulsa wins on Monday, game 3 would be played Tuesday night in Des Moines.

The Energy have announced that Monday's game will feature $1 beer as well as a promotion where fans in attendance will receive free fries from Burger King if the Energy reach 100 points.
