Lansing Lugnuts News Release
LANSING, MI. - Opening Night between the Lansing Lugnuts and West Michigan Whitecaps was postponed due to unavoidable field conditions on Thursday night caused by a melting layer of permafrost in the infield. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday starting at 5:05 p.m.
Fans possessing tickets to Thursday night's game are encouraged to exchange those tickets in person at the stadium box office for tickets of equal value to a future Lugnuts game.
Right-handers Casey Lawrence and Daniel Webb will take to the hill for Lansing in the season-opening doubleheader, with each game slated for seven innings.
