Ecuadorian national team standouts include goalkeeper Juan Francisco Cevallos (LDU Quito/ECU), defender Walter Ayovi (Monterrey/MEX) and Edwin Tenorio (Deportivo Quito/ECU).
The Mexican national team, under the direction of new head coach Jose Manuel "Chepo" de la Torre, kicked off its 2011 U.S. Tour in Atlanta's Georgia Dome on February 9 with a 2-0 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina. Upcoming matches of the U.S. Tour include games against Paraguay in Oakland and Venezuela in San Diego on March 26 and 29 respectively.
