Carolina RailHawks FC Announces Three Additions to Ticket Sales and Fan Development Team

Cary, NC - (March 14, 2011) Carolina RailHawks FC, the Triangle's professional soccer franchise, has announced three exciting additions in ticket sales and fan development: Evan Morris, Chris Vurnakes, and Ben Adler.

Morris will take over as the RailHawks' Director of Ticket Sales. Morris brings to the RailHawks extensive experience in professional soccer having spent three years with the Richmond Kickers working his way from Implementation Manager up to the Director of Ticket Sales. Morris earned his undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University while lettering all four years for the varsity soccer team.

Vurnakes joins the RailHawks as a Manager of Tickets Sales and Fan Development. Vurnakes has experience through a variety of other sports business organizations including NC State athletics, the Durham Bulls, and Octagon Golf. Vurnakes, a Triangle local, has earned both his undergraduate degree and Masters in Parks, Recreation and Tourism from NC State University.

Following an internship with the RailHawks, Adler spent time working with Octagon Sports Marketing in Cary before returning to the RailHawks as a Manager of Ticket Sales and Fan Development. Adler received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University where he lettered in soccer.

"I am thrilled to announce the signing of three 'key players' to our Front Office Staff," said Curt Johnson, President of the RailHawks. "Ticket Sales is the lifeblood of any successful professional sports organization and Evan, Chris and Ben will be a huge part of our 2011 season and beyond."
