The list of items and attractions on the 2011 Corpus Christi Hooks promotional calendar, that is. When single-game tickets go to public sale Friday morning at 9 a.m., fans will have 70 Texas League games to choose from... and a whole lot more.
"This is, without a doubt, our best promotional slate ever," Hooks president Ken Schrom said. "We have everything from a Nolan Ryan bobblehead to a four-show concert series. Fans can plan their trips to Whataburger Field around some really cool promo items and acts like BBoy McCoy, Birdzerk and Zooperstars, not to mention our concerts with heralded Texas-based acts like Neal McCoy, Asleep at the Wheel, the Texas Tornados and Green River Ordinance.
"The always-popular CITGO jersey series is back with one issue a month... a Hooks road top (April 30), baby blue top (May 21), Texas flag jersey (June 18), orange retro jersey (July 9) and green jersey (August 27). We are grateful for the support of our sponsors; none of this would be possible without them."
2011 Hooks tickets can be purchased at the Whataburger Field Box Office, on-line at cchooks.com or by calling 361-561-HOOK.
Neal McCoy kicks off the Hooks Summer Concert Series on May 21. Asleep at the Wheel, the Texas Tornados and Green River Ordinance perform on June 18, July 9 and August 27, respectively. Those Saturdays have a special 6:05 game time and reserved-seat tickets are just $18 in advance and $20 day-of.
A great value, Hooks season tickets are still on sale at just $495/seat ($7.07 per game). Friday Fireworks and Saturday Special plans are comprised of 22 games at $195. The Saturday Special covers you with all four concerts and 10 giveaway items, based on availability.
