
Carter Returns, Goes For Fourth Championship In A Row

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach Randy Murphy announced today that the team has re-signed veteran forward, Mike Carter.
"Mike will be another great addition from last year's team," Murphy said. "He is a proven winner having won an unprecedented three consecutive SPHL Championships. Mike will look to be a threat every night and continue to create with his speed and tenacity. "
Carter (5-8, 180) played in all 56 games for the Havoc last season and scored 18 goals and recorded 28 assists. He recorded five assists in eight playoff games. The Cambridge, Ontario native has played in 321 career games, scored 89 goals and recorded 163 assists. He has added five goals and 18 assists in 49 career playoff games.
He will be going for his fourth consecutive SPHL Championship after winning the 2007-08 and 2008-09 Championships with the Knoxville Ice Bears.
The Havoc also signed defenseman, Tyler Gale, to a tryout agreement.
Gale (6-2, 180) played in 120 career junior games in the QMJHL and the MJAHL. He scored eight goals, added 37 assists and had 223 penalty minutes.
