Des Moines, IA - Iowa Cubs outfielder Jason Dubois has been named the Pacific Coast League's Batter of the Week for the week of August 30-September 6, the league office announced today. This is the final Player of the Week Award this season and it marks the sixth time this year an Iowa Cub has received the honor.
For the week of August 30-September 6, Dubois hit .529 (18-for-34) with four doubles, a triple, six home runs and 18 runs batted in.
In 72 games, Dubois ended the season hitting .300 for Iowa.
