BOISE, ID, September 2, 2010 - The Idaho Stampede, in conjunction with the Idaho Steeleheads, are partnering with Commercial Tire and Cooper Tires to present the "Be True to Your School" campaign this season.

The program allows local fans to nominate a deserving high school athletics coach for recognition. One winner per week will be selected between September 12 and February 12. The winning coaches will then be invited to a Stampede or Steelheads game to be honored and the coach's school's athletics department will receive a $750 donation from Commercial Tire and Cooper Tires.

"We are thrilled to partner with the Idaho Steelheads, Commercial Tire and Cooper Tires for the 'Be True to Your School' program," Stampede President and General Manager Steve Brandes said. "Sports are an important part of the development of our youth and we are excited to help engage the community in an effort to further the advancement of high school athletics programs."

To nominate a coach, simply visit the website for the Stampede or Commercial Tire and click on the "Be True to Your School" logo. Fill out the nomination form and click "Submit Form." Once you have done that, your coach has officially been nominated.
