Jones also fielded questions from members of Rotary about the team following his speech.

Jones offered the following on the opportunity to speak before one of the world's greatest philanthropic organizations, "it certainly was an honour to be invited as a guest speaker for the Rotary Club luncheon and all those in attendance asked some great questions about the Windsor Spitfires. Rotary's passion for the Windsor Spitfires Hockey Club was evident at yesterday's event and has also been proven through their contributions to several community initiatives that our team has hosted in past seasons. Our team looks forward to working with the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland as well as other Rotary Clubs for the upcoming season."

Windsor-Roseland Past-President Dan Pelletier also offered his thoughts on Rotary's partnership with the Spitfires and shared his views on the common traits that both organizations share, "as a values based, community organization, Rotary supports other organizations with similar core values.
