Minor League Baseball President Pat O'Conner will attend Lynchburg's series opener with Winston-Salem Monday, August 23. The game is at 7:05 p.m.
O'Conner is the 11th president of Minor League Baseball and took over in 2007. He served as the Chief Operating Officer since 1993 and Vice President of Administration since 1995.
An Ohio native, O'Conner graduated with a degree in economics and finance from Wittenberg University. He has spent time in the South Atlantic, Texas and Florida State Leagues and was the Head of Florida Operations for the Houston Astros organization. He won Florida State League Executive of the Year in 1988 while he was the general manager of the Osceola Astros.
