
Walter Cordiner Joins Royals as Sr. Manager, Marketing & Game Presentation

Reading, PA -The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization has hired Walter Cordiner as the team's Senior Manager, Marketing & Game Presentation. Cordiner will handle matters related to the Royals game night presentation, including video, music and intermission entertainment. Cordiner will also manage the day-to-day operations of the team's marketing efforts, including player and mascot appearances.
Cordiner, who hails from Long Island, New York, comes to the Royals after serving as the Director of Corporate Sales and Game Operations for the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League for the past several seasons. Prior to that, Cordiner served in a similar capacity for the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. Cordiner, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from St. John's University, served as intern for NASCAR in New York City as a part of his college program. Cordiner, who can be reached at wcordiner@royalshockey.com will begin his duties with the Royals immediately.
The Royals host the team's tenth anniversary home opener on Saturday, October 23, 2010 (7:05 pm), when the Elmira Jackals visit the Sovereign Center.
