K-Tribe and Wilmington Suspended After Two Innings

Kinston's Friday night game against the Wilmington Blue Rocks was suspended after two innings due to heavy rain in Eastern North Carolina. Both teams had a hit as the game was scoreless through two frames. The teams will pick up the suspended game at 6pmon Saturday night at Historic Grainger Stadium.After the conclusion of the suspended game (scheduled for nine innings), thetwo teams will play the third game of the series (scheduled for seven innings).
Gates will open at 5pm as the first 1,000 fans will get a Lonnie Chisenhall Bobblehead.
