Lukacovic Returns To Havoc Blueline

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach Randy Murphy announced today that defenseman Adam Lukacovic will return for his second season with the team.

"Adam is poised to build off a great rookie season. We are lucky and excited to have him back and I know Huntsville has become a second home to him," Murphy said. "His passion and excitement for the game is contagious and his teammates definitely feed off that."

Lukacovic (6-0, 180) played in all 56 games on the blueline for the Havoc last season. He scored seven goals, recorded 10 assists and had 89 penalty minutes. He recorded one assist in eight playoff games. He had one powerplay goal, two powerplay assists and one game-winning goal.

The Havoc also signed another Czech defenseman in Kamil Vavra.

Vavra (5-9, 185) has played in 278 games in junior and professional hockey overseas. He has scored 108 goals, recorded 83 assists, a +28 rating and has 391 penalty minutes. He has played in 11 career playoff games and scored six goals and recorded seven assists.

"Kamil comes highly recommended and has had an established junior career, proving he was an elite player at that level," Murphy said. "He is a hard-nosed competitor with great speed and exceptional hockey sense in all three zones. He will be an exciting young player for Havoc fans to watch out for."
