
Toledo Walleye Add Another Pair for the 2010-11 Season

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced that the team has signed forward Dominic Osman and defenseman Kyle Page to contracts for the 2010-11 season.
Kyle Page
Page signed with the Walleye on March 9, 2010 following the completion of his senior season at Bowling Green after a distinguished career with the Falcons. Kyle collected his first professional goal on April 3rd in Kalamazoo and finished the season with three points (1g, 2a) in 12 games with Toledo.
Kyle posted a career-high in points with 17 (3g, 14a) in his final season with BGSU, while serving as the team's captain for a second straight season. Last season, Page was named BGSU's top defensive player for a third consecutive year. Kyle was also named the team's Most Valuable Player, Scholar Athlete, and also received the Leadership award. During his time at Bowling Green he was also named to the CCHA's Scholar Athlete Team (2006-07), and was honorable mention All-CCHA Rookie Team in 2005-06.
Dominic Osman
Osman started last season with the Walleye appearing in 47 games while scoring 12 goals with 10 assists. He scored two goals and netted the game-winners in both the October 31st, and December 11th games at Kalamazoo. The native of Dearborn, MI, was traded to Florida as part of a three-team deal that landed the Walleye defenseman Chris Zarb. Osman did collect 15 points (8g, 7a) in 20 regular season games with the Everblades, before netting three assists in four playoff appearances.
In 182 professional games, Osman has scored 76 goals while adding 56 assists. Prior to his professional career, Dominic appeared in 124 games at Lake Superior State over a four-year span. In 2003-04, he became the first freshman to lead the Lakers in scoring in 23 years (1979-80).

The Toledo Walleye will begin the regular season on Friday, October 15 at 7:00 PM in Wheeling. The home opener will be Saturday, October 16th at 7:00 pm when the Walleye host Wheeling at the Huntington Center. Ticket packages are on sale now and group outings are being reserved.
