The Calgary Stampeders would like to remind fans to join them at Shouldice Athletic Park on Friday, June 25 for a special open practice.

The practice will be held on Hellard Field and begins at approximately 10:55 a.m. and will end at approximately 12:15 p.m. Shouldice Park is located at 1515 Home Rd. NW. Time and weather permitting, players will meet with fans and sign autographs for approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of practice.

Posters, fridge-magnet schedules and mini-footballs will be given out to those in attendance. Quantities of all items are limited.

"Shouldice Park is a unique and intimate setting and fans and players alike are sure to enjoy the experience," said Stampeders president and COO Lyle Bauer. "After Thursday's roster deadline day, this will also be everyone's first chance to see the 2010 Stampeders as they prepare for the new season."

The Calgary Stampeder Football Club and managing partner Ted Hellard have been ardent supporters of the Shouldice Facility Enhancement project and have made financial contributions.

The practice is an important part of the Stampeders' preparation for the 2010 season, which begins July 1 at McMahon Stadium against the Toronto Argonauts.
