
Sharks swim past Bluefish

Camden Riversharks News Release
Camden took the second game of the Bridgeport series with a 9-5 victory. Eddy Camacho earned the win for the Sharks and improved his record to 3-0. Jorge Perez was charged with the loss. The Riversharks are now on a three game winning streak and remain in first place, a game and a half ahead the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.
In the first few innings of the game, the Sharks quickly jumped ahead. They scored back to back runs in the first and second frame.
Bridgeport answered back in the top of the fourth scoring five runs. Willy Mo Pena singled past Brian Burgamy to drive in two. Two batters later, Joe Jiannetti doubled driving in an additional two runs. Todd Jennings closed the scoring for the inning, giving Bridgeport a 5-2 lead after driving in Jiannetti.
Camden tied the game at five in the fifth inning scoring three runs in the process. Chris Walker, Kyle Haines, and Brian Burgamy all scored. They extended their lead, scoring runs in each of the remaining innings. The Sharks recorded two runs in the sixth, and one in the seventh and eighth.
Burgamy finished the night hitting 3-4 with 2 runs and 3 RBI's. Walker went 2-3 with 2 runs and Guzman closed the evening 3-5, with 2 RBI's and 2 runs.
Blaine Neal came into the game in the ninth and retired the side in order to secure the third consecutive win for the Sharks.
