Hershey Bears News Release
HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with ABC-27 that all remaining games in the 2010 Calder Cup Finals will be televised. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
In addition to Friday's Game 5, which was already being televised, Game 6 and a potential Game 7 will be televised on WHTM-TV's RTV digital channel, located at 27.2. For Comcast subscribers in central PA, RTV can be found on channel 246. For Verizon customers, RTV is located on channel 461. John Walton and Gregg Mace will call the action from the Lone Star State for Game 5. The pair will be joined by radio analyst Ed Coffey at Giant Center for Game 6. The games are being presented by Capital BlueCross.
The American Hockey League announced today that all remaining games in the series will also be seen on NHL Network in the United States. Comcast SportsNet Mid Atlantic will also carry all remaining games, which can be seen on Direct TV channel 642 and Dish Network channel 424.
The remaining schedule for the 2010 Calder Cup Finals on WHTM-TV's RTV digital channel is as follows (all times Eastern):
Game 5: Friday, June 11 at Texas 8:30 p.m. Cedar Park Center
Game 6: Monday, June 14 at HERSHEY 7:00 p.m. Giant Center
*Game 7: Wednesday, June 16 at HERSHEY 7:00 p.m. Giant Center
*if necessary
Monday's Game 6 is a complete sellout. Should a Game 7 be necessary, tickets would go on sale immediately at the Giant Center box office. HERSHEY will look to become the first team since the 1991 Springfield Indians to win back-to-back Calder Cup titles.
