San Francisco Giant Mark Derosa Scheduled to Rehab in San Jose

SAN JOSE, CALIF- The San Francisco Giants have announced infielder/outfielder Mark DeRosa is scheduled to play for the San Jose Giants on Monday, May 31st at Municipal Stadium as part of a rehabilitation assignment. DeRosa is recovering from left wrist neuritis and was placed in the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 9th.

DeRosa is batting .194 with 10 RBIs in 26 games with San Francisco this season. This is his first year in the Giants organization. DeRosa debuted in the major leagues in 1998 with Atlanta and entered this season with a career batting average of .275, 92 home runs and 430 RBI's.
