Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Waterloo, Iowa-Clint Rowe, the Waterloo Black Hawks' Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will step down from his position, effective in mid-June, the team announced Thursday.
Rowe played an integral role in the franchise's success during his six seasons with the team. In addition to his sales and marketing responsibilities, he managed the team's game night operations and served as the club's Director of Community Relations from 2004-2008. During five of his six years with the franchise, Rowe's contributions helped the Black Hawks increase their attendance over the previous season. The Hawks were twice named the USHL's Organization of the Year in that time (2005 and 2007). Rowe was promoted to his Vice President of Sales and Marketing post in June of 2009 from Corporate Sales Director.
"Clint was instrumental to our organization's ability to achieve our corporate sales goals," said Waterloo Black Hawks President Doug Miller. "We will miss his enthusiasm and creativity, but wish him only the best for the future."
Rowe's departure will allow him to take on exciting new sales challenges. He is expected to join Inspired Real Estate of Cedar Falls as a real estate agent in the coming months.
