
Action-Packed Homestand Awaits Naturals

After spending the weekend in Springfield, the Naturals return home on Monday night for an eight-game homestand that promises to be one of the most action-packed homestands of the season thus far. With the club currently in first-place in the Texas League's North Division, there will be great baseball action on the field to complement the spectacular promotions the Naturals have on tap. Here are all the details:
The homestand kicks off Monday night with the first visit by our neighboring Tulsa Drillers, who are enjoying playing at a new ballpark and sporting new uniforms for the 2010 season. Monday evening is Monday Night Lights presented by Ozarks Electric Cooperative Corporation alongside media partners Hot Mix 101.9 and KNWA. Ozarks Electric customers will receive buy one, get one free tickets. Mondays also mean DOLLAR HOTDOGS for fans courtesy of Tyson Foods. The fun begins at 7:00 P.M (Gates open at 6:00).
Tuesday everyone will get up early for SWEPCO SCHOOL KIDS DAY presented by Southwestern Electric Power Company and Magic 107.9. Several schools from around Northwest Arkansas will enjoy a daygame, with gates opening at 10 and the matinee game beginning at 11.
The Naturals and Drillers must enjoy getting up on the early side, as Wednesday is also a SWEPCO SCHOOL KIDS DAY presented by Southwestern Electric Power Company and Magic 107.9. Several schools from around Northwest Arkansas will enjoy the third and final School Kids Day of 2010, with gates opening at 10 and the matinee game beginning at 11.
Beat the early heat on Thursday as the series with the Drillers wraps up with Thirsty Thursday, presented by Kruger/White Cloud GreenEarth, 104.9 The X, and 1190 The Fan. Miller High Life drafts and small Pepsi Fountain beverages are offered for $1! Game time is 7:00 (gates open at 6).
The Naturals will welcome in our in-state rival Arkansas Travelers from North Little Rock on Friday for our first of two Faith and Family Nights presented by Sam's Furniture and KLRC. Gates will open at 5:30 on Friday, and Contemporary Christian artist Josh Wilson will play a pre-game concert beginning at 6 P.M. First pitch is at 7:30, and we'll have Post-Game Fireworks sponsored by media partners KIX104 and Fox 24. Friday night games are also Northwest Arkansas Community College Affiliation Night. All local college students with a valid ID can get a reserved ticket for $1 off at the ticket window.
Saturday, the first 2,500 adult fans will receive a BBQ Apron presented by Tyson Foods alongside media partners Power 105.7 and KFSM, just in time for the start of summer. In addition, professional baseball's all-time favorite Golden Retriever, Jake the Diamond Dog, will make his yearly two-day visit.All dogs belong at Arvest Ballpark on Sunday as not only is it Family Sunday presented by Nickelodeon alongside media partners Magic 107.9 and 5 News but it's also Del Monte Pet Products' Bark in the Ballpark! All ticket holders are encouraged to bring their dog with them to the park, and the first 150 dog owners will get a free hot dog voucher courtesy of French's Mustard. Since its Sunday, KIDS EAT FREE - kids 12 and under will receive a voucher upon entry good for a hotdog, bag of chips, and small soft drink courtesy of Mrs. Bairds, Tyson Foods, and Sierra Mist. Kids also will have the opportunity to run the bases after every Sunday game, led by members of the J.B. Hunt Transport Knothole Gang. Sunday's game is at 2:00 (gates open at 1).
