Cats go to final, win series 4 to 1 and game five 4-2

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats will go to the final of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the third time in the 14 year history of the franchise after a 4-2 win over the Drummondville Voltigeurs in game 5 of the best of 7 series.
It was the outstanding goaltending of Nicola Riopel that assured the victory. Rio stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced while the Wildcats managed only 19 shots on Jake Allen.
Moncton lead 2-1 after 1, 3-2 after 40 minutes and got the insurance, empty net goal at 19:29 of the third for the victory.
Daniel Pettersson, Ted Stephens, Allain Saulnier and Brandon Gormley were the Moncton goal getters. Dumont and Blanchard replied for Drummondville.
On the power play, Moncton went 0 for 2 while Drummondville was 0 for 3.
