Jake Gannon Returns From Bridgeport; Will Play Friday In Game 4

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that defenseman Jake Gannon has returned from the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He will be in the lineup Friday when Utah hosts Idaho at 7:05 p.m. in game four of the ECHL's National Conference Semifinals.

The Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of the New York Islanders and their AHL affiliate in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Gannon returns to Utah after being recalled to Bridgeport April 15. In one playoff game with Utah, the six-foot-one rookie totaled two assists, a plus-two and four shots on goal as Utah defeated Las Vegas 5-1 on April 13 to win the fifth and deciding game in the first round.

The 22-year-old Illinois native split the regular season between Utah (38 games) and Bridgeport (26 games).

Game 4; Friday, April 23: Idaho at Utah, 7:05 p.m.
